The biotechnology program at Quincy College is getting a $725,000 cash infusion through the capital program of the Massachusetts Life Sciences Center, a Waltham-based investment group.
The program will offer high school residents of Quincy and Plymouth access to 37 courses for $100 per credit, and students won’t have to pay admissions or registration fees. Standard tuition at the college ranges from $229 to $869 per credit.
High school students looking to earn college credit can do so this summer at Quincy College, which will offer more than two dozen through a new dual-enrollment.
Quincy College has been granted Initial Approval status by the Massachusetts Board of Registration in Nursing (BORN). Quincy College may now accept applications for enrollment into the Associate in Science Degree in Nursing (ASN) Program and the Certificate of Completion in Practical Nursing (PN) Program.
